Food Prep Worker

STATUS:  Full Time

The Food Prep Worker will assist the cook with the preparation of daily meals, including preparing assorted salads, fruits, vegetables and meats.  The Food Prep Worker will also clean various cooking and serving containers, wipe down food prep areas and may assist with stocking and cleaning walk-ins and freezer.

RN/LPN

STATUS: FT 1st shift and 3rd shift, PRN 1st and 2nd shift position weekend position

The Registered Nurse will implement the plan of care for each resident that will lead to the highest level of functioning attainable, and then will maintain the resident at that level for as long as possible.  The Registered Nurse is responsible for the direct care of residents, working along with the direct care staff to provide quality care for the residents.  The Registered Nurse will coordinate the work of direct care staff serving on their team.  The Registered Nurse is responsible to assist in the training and orientation of personnel, the implementation of fire, evacuation, and disaster plans, providing emergency care for residents of the Health Care Center and apartments, notifying physicians, implementing orders, administering medications and treatments, documenting and reporting all information or changes on each resident.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Current license issued by the State of Kansas.

Laundry Worker

STATUS:  Full Time

The Laundry Worker will collect, clean, fold, sort and transport garments and linens to residents.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be 18 years of age.

Certified Nurse Aide/Activity Assistant (Memory Support)

STATUS:  Full Time 2nd Shift

DUTIES: The Activity Assistant will assist in the development and implementation of all activity programs and will provide for the spirtual, social, cognitive and physical needs of the residents in a therapeutic manner.

Certified Nurse Aide certificate issued by State of Kansas required.  Must be 18 years of age.

Certified Medication Aide (MS)

STATUS:  Full Time (float between 1st and 2nd shift)

DUTIES: The Certified Medication Aide will deliver quality daily care services to the residents.  Basic activities of daily living include dressing, eating and personal care.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:  Current Certified Medication Aide certificate issued by the State of Kansas.  Must be 18 years of age.

Certified Nurse Aide (CNA)

STATUS:  Full Time 1st and 2nd shift position/PRN 1st shift position

The Certified Nurse Aide is to deliver quality daily care services to the resident.  Services are the basic activities of daily living such as dressing, eating and personal care.  The Certified Nurse Aide is a vital person in the Health Care Center, as no one has more direct daily contact with the resident.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:  Must have current Certified Nurse Aide certificate issued by the State of Kansas.  Must be 18 years of age.

Servers

STATUS:  Part Time positions available

The Server will ensure that all patrons have a pleasant dining experience by providing high quality service in the most efficient and effective manner.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must have, or obtain, a food handlers card from the Sedgwick County Health Department.  Must be 16 years of age.

Dietary Aide

STATUS:  Full Time

The HCC Dietary Aide will assist with meal preparation, set up and clean up including bussing dirty dishes and keeping inventory.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:  Must have, or obtain, food handlers card from Sedgwick County Health Department.

HCC Receptionist

STATUS:  Full Time 2nd Shift

The Receptionist will perform a variety of clerical functions and will present a positive, helpful, cooperative image to residents, staff and the general public.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:  Intermediate knowledge and proficiency in MS Office products preferred.

Activity Assistant

STATUS:  Full Time 1st shift  position in HCC/PT 1st shift position available in AL
